Q: How do you know if you've hired the right person?
A: When you see the person is motivated to take on the task at hand. When you see that they are asking questions that go beyond the basics and show that they want to succeed in their role. When they push you to set their objectives and goals with measurable items. When they take the initiative in areas where responsibility holes exist. When they document how things are done which have not been documented before. When they make an effort to make their boss look good.
